We spend the time understanding your situation, motivations and goals, and will create a treatment plan just for you.  Our focus is on giving you the knowledge and support that you need to keep moving and achieve your goals, and we have a strong network of specialist providers should we need to refer you for further treatment.

We offer a diverse range of general physiotherapy services including massage, mobilisation, manipulation, spinal therapies, sports medicine, acupuncture and strapping, along with lead edge shockwave treatments which is a highly effective non-surgical treatment for certain soft tissue conditions

Our hand physiotherapists are considered experts in their field of work and as NZ Registered Hand Therapists and have specialist qualifications which allow them to accurately assess and treat your hand or lower arm.   Our Hand Therapists hold a specialised ACC contract which means there is no charge for your hand, wrist or elbow splints if you have an ACC injury. 

At Pukekohe Physiotherapy we passionate about helping our patients to optimise their performance and prevent injury in all sports.  The team at Pukekohe Physiotherapy have a depth of experience covering a range of sporting fields.  Kevin McQuoid has developed and evolved an athlete screening template, drawing on his experience over the past 23 years in professional sport, which he utilises for rugby, team sports and general exercising population,  while Susie and Gavin bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in triathlon, multi sport, swimming, surf life saving and cycling and bike set up.

We also recognise the critical importance of working with patients from a rehabilitation perspective, whether as a result of surgery, osteoarthritis,  chronic condition or trauma. Pukekohe Physiotherapy prides itself in the many success stories they have had with patients who have been rehabilitated to normal function.

We are local and 100% committed to giving back to our community through involvement in a number of initiatives including physiotherapy for a number of local and national sporting teams, providing onsite physiotherapy at Pukekohe High School, volunteering at Accessible Aquatics and involvement as a lifeguard at Port Waikato.

Our team is also committed to investing in the future of physiotherapy in New Zealand through involvement with AUT physiotherapy students offering opportunities to work alongside our experienced physiotherapists in the clinic to ensure ongoing education, training and development of our future experts. 

At Pukekohe Physiotherapy we offer a diverse range of physiotherapy services and we are an ACC accredited provider.  If your condition is as a result of an accident you do not require a referral from your doctor, we have ACC forms available at reception for you to complete so you can come directly to us.  If your ACC application is approved, you will be eligible for subsidised rate.
